My passion: A long horseback ride on a brisk fall day: the smells, the sounds and the views are incomparable.

My hometown: Brevard, North Carolina.

I am most proud of: getting my boys to school on time without rushing - those days start out the best!

One thing I never want to do again: Stepping in a hole while galloping a horse across a field. I don't recommend it!

If I could be totally wild, I would: race in the Maryland Hunt Cup!

I am guilty of: going to prison. I had a two hour - maybe three hour stint for making a u-turn on Mass Ave. But, I guess I had a speeding ticket I hadn't paid so I was in contempt of court. They had to take me to the can. When I got out, I had found God! 

The nickname I wish I had: Tippi - I called myself that as a kid.

If I were a superheroine (or fictional heroine), I would be: Elastigirl! I love the Incredibles!

The best thing I ever won: An award from the Woods Hole Film Festival

Something most people don’t know about me: I have nine brothers and sisters  

My first job: I was sixteen and worked at a music camp cafeteria slopping food with my best friend Nancy Thompson. We had to wear hairnets! 

What are you most vain about? the physical shape I'm in.
